We can take responsibility for our emotional and physical healing
My husband and I had the wonderful opportunity to help facilitate The Journey weekend in New Jersey this last weekend. What really first attracted us to help out was that Brandon herself (the founder) was doing the training! We had an amazing time. It reiterated to me how important it is to let everyone know that they can take charge of their own emotional and physical healing in a very powerful way. The extra big bonus is that if you are on your own spiritual journey, The Journey accelerates it and really creates a beautiful space for your own awakening. If you are interested in find out more look at www.thejourney.com The amount of stories I hear of people healing from emotional trauma to diseases that predict death, is amazing. Especially cancer! But so many other things too. We had the opportunity to hang out with Brandon, which was amazing. She is truly an inspiration. So I came back exhausted, but really wonderfully reconnected with my soul. I am now making a commitment to do more of the The Journeys workshops and support the initial weekend, because the effect on people’s lives (as well as my own) is amazing. Today was a wonderful day. I decided not to participate as a vendor but just to wander around the expo talking to people in general. And I was lucky enough to have my Brazilian friend Daniela accompany me (she is a massage therapist and reiki practitioner). What I found was a bunch of amazing people, who were all so connected with their art, gift, or purpose. It really reminded me of why I feel so inspired to coach this genre of people. The connection I felt was deep and often from the soul. When I coach a holistic practitioner or coach, who is their business, who lives their life like this, the opportunity to release unrealised potential is enormous. Coaching people in the healing community, to become even better at what they do, so they can share it with more people, is becoming my life’s work. The reward is great for them and for me.
I found a couple of wonderful people, who will guest on my KTC radio show – a woman who runs drumming circle workshops, and another is heals by sound, Energy work is truly incredible. My peers Coach Dara and Gabrielle, were there, both specialising in Human Design - a fascinating exercise on revealing different aspects of yourself, through various modalities rolled into one. (can’t wait to try that out Dara!) Another peer, Chris Verde was there talking about MAT, his business of helping people recover the use of muscles – through stimulating blood flow to atrophied muscle. Fascinating work. The potential for healing was revealed in so many interesting ways, and showed differents paths as an option to integrate with conventional medicine, or as an alternative.
Whether you’re taking steps to drink juice made from the Acai Berry to improve health, or reviving muscle before resorting to irreversable surgery, the awareness that there are many options available to us is enormously valuable.
Congratulations to all the vendors at the Expo today, and a big one to Jill McCrane, who pulled off an amazing event. My feelings of gratitude and connection were overwhelming today as I walked out the doors, to return home.

I couldn’t let this week go by without creating more awareness around Invisible Illness Week which is this
Invisible Illness Week
week!
I am a migraineur – diagnosed with cluster headaches/ occular migraine, and I truly do know what its like to live with chronic pain. I also know what it is like to live with something that isn’t always visible to others, and dealing with the fallout from that. With friends and work. I have realised that primarily it is important to educate others (they don’t know what you’re going through) and be kind and compassionate to yourself (it doesn’t matter what anyone else thinks). Support yourself the best way you know how – if it means saying ‘no’ to be able to ‘yes’ to yourself then that is the appropriate choice. (I had a great interview on this subject on my radio show a couple of weeks ago with Christine Clifton, ‘Become an Energy Magnet’ -see link to show on side of page)
So I want to support and acknowledge all practitioners who support people in chronic pain – and let all of you with ‘invisible illnesses’ know how much I support and admire your courage and resolve in your lives. Take care of yourselves.

Last week I had a great interview with Christine Clifton on my KtC Radio show…. and it led into a

No More, Now What?
When asked to do something, do you open up a jam packed calendar to squeeze one more thing in to an already over scheduled life? Before we can create new dreams we need to make room for them.
Is it time to give up something you have outgrown? Are you ready to quit something that is no longer ture for you and that no longer nurtures or fulfills you?
When your kids need you or you are under a deadline at work, you don’t always have a choice. But when offered a choice, if you are invited to do something that you don’t have to do or don’t want to do, consider saying, ‘No, thank you.’
Clear away some clutter to make room for new dreams. As you say, ‘no more’ to what’s no longer true for you , to those activities, habits, even relationships that are not aligned with how you want to live your life, you make room to ask, ‘Now what?’
With new found friends, energy and time, what would you say ‘yes’ to? What would you say ‘more’ to? What dreams would you schedule into your life?
While helping people create or discover new dreams, two of my favourite words are, ‘What else?’ What else would bring you more joy and fulfillment, what else would bring you more passion and energy, what else would have you feel aligned with your purpose?
With a little breathing space, you can add things to your life that matter to you, make you happy and are aligned with your purpose. Imagine how your life will change when some day soon, you open your calendar to find inspiring projects that progress your most heartfelt goals.
That would be a dream come true life.

That might seen as a silly question…. but really what motivates us to get up in the morning to do what we do? It is not always the money, in fact it often is secondary, even tho’ it is the one thing that allows us to keep doing what we love doing! So of course we can see how important that aspect is!
Of course it also means that we need to determine what ’success’ means to us! Success to me, means that I can work with amazing people to help them create wonderful businesses that can impact people effectively and allow myself and them to live a fun, and easy life, being able to grow and learn at the same time! Realistically that means you need financial success to be able create that on an ongoing basis! So think about what you want! and how are you going to create that?
On Monday, I will be interviewing Craig Miller - The Cake Coach, www.thecakecoach.com who is excellent marketing coach. Look at the name he uses! I was immediately attracted to what he offered! He is going to be sharing why small entrepeneurial businesses fail to get clients and steps need to succeed. That will include some great tips and tools on how to do that! This interview is going help you reach your dream!
