Great day as a ‘first timer’ at the conference, just getting orientated and meeting people. My friend Linda and I met a very interesting chap at the Welcome Reception – a speaker, Bill Plotkin who explained the difference between soul and spirit … one being innate and the latter being of the universe. He is a depth psychologist and wilderness guide who seems to have a fascination with the underworld – hell, I think hell on earth! Very interesting. We will get to see him speak tomorrow. The reception was lots of fun, lots of little tables with beautiful dramatic masks, and some fantastic street performers mingling among the attendees in a dramatic and sometimes unexpected way! Can’t wait to see what tomorrow will bring!
